Saruni Rhino Camp, Sera Conservancy

A first for East Africa. Now, instead of merely observing rhinos in the bush, you can track them on foot in their natural habitat.

You walk through the East African bush. Just ahead of you is your guide holding the antenna, and not much more than a few metres ahead of him is a black rhino. This is the moment that inspired you to choose Saruni Rhino Camp as part of your luxury, tailor-made holiday to Kenya.

Radio tracking and trekking on foot is the latest way to ensure you see black rhinos close up, and Saruni Rhino is the first place in the whole of East Africa to offer it. But there’s more. At this camp you don’t have to go to the game – it will come to you. Elephants, hyenas, zebra, oryx, impala and a huge number of birds all visit the watering hole on the edge of the camp.
