Kasbah Hotel Xaluca is situated among the dunes and palms just outside Erfoud, an oasis town appropriately known as the ‘door to the desert’.
Designed and constructed using traditional southern Moroccan materials and methods, including adobe building bricks, this distinctive hotel offers great comfort in very individual surroundings. It’s a wonderful base from which to explore the Erg Chebbi ruins at Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara, as well as an array of outdoor adventures that include 4X4 desert safaris, quad biking on the dunes and trekking in the foothills the Atlas Mountains.
Each of the 200 guestrooms is adorned with regional materials, including fossil-design bathroom furniture, creating a truly original ambience. However, you may prefer to stay in one of the eight luxurious bungalows which come equipped with kitchens, living areas, Jacuzzis and private terraces.
A comfortable lounge bar is the perfect place to relax with a cup of traditional mint tea, whilst the restaurant and Moroccan dining room offer a choice of international and typical local dishes.
