Gomoti Plains, Okavango Delta
Gomoti Plains Camp occupies a prime position in the world renowned Okavango Delta, a region known for its huge diversity of wildlife and year round excellent game viewing. Expect to see as many as 400 species of birds, as well as lions, elephants, hyenas, wild dogs, buffalo, hippo, crocodiles, a variety of antelope, monkeys, warthogs, genets, mongoose, bushbabies and more.
As well as day and night 4×4 game drives, motor boat trips and guided walks, you’ll get to explore the delta the old-fashioned way – in a traditional mokoro canoe. From the camp’s private veranda you can watch the procession of wildlife come down to the river to drink in front of the camp.

Today a light aircraft will take you to Lebala. A guide will meet you at the landing strip and take you to your camp set in the huge, unspoiled Kwando Concession that stretches from the Okavango Delta to the riverine marshes on the Namibian border.
Here you’ll track great herds of elephants, big cats and wild dogs as you explore some 4,000 sq km of wooded savannahs, rivers, wetlands and vast plains rich in wildlife. From the deck of your secluded tent you’ll have gorgeous views across the vast plains, and in the evening you can huddle around a roaring camp fire.
