The highlight of a stay here is of course the wonderful wildlife. The area surrounding the camp is often visited by spotted hyena, forest elephant, harnessed bushbuck and forest buffalo, making for some wonderful sightings at your doorstep. But it’s not all about the big wildlife at Mboko. Knowledgeable guides will also show you the region’s smaller species – the insects, birds and butterflies – as well as a vivid display of plants.

Activities at Mboko combine a mix of walking, boating and driving, allowing access to some of the most wildlife rich corners of the concession. You could find yourself wading through river streams and bais on foot, floating down the Lekoli River in search of putty-nosed and colobus monkeys, and exploring trails on the fringes of forested areas.
