Zambezi Expeditions, Mana Pools National Park

A truly immersive land and water experience awaits at Zambezi Expeditions, a 12-bed luxury tented camp at the heart of one of Africa’s wildest national parks.

A semi-mobile property, Zambezi Expeditions is set up on Mana Pools’ Nkupi camping site at the start of the season each year. Set on the open floodplains, the camp feels as close to nature as possible with wildlife often found freely ambling about. Guests are housed in six Meru-style walk-in tents dotted along the banks of the Zambezi and nestled under the shade of beautiful winter thorn and ebony trees. Comfortable and simply furnished, the experience at Zambezi Expeditions is very much focused on the great game-viewing to be had.

Guests have incredible access to the Zambezi River, with the opportunity for exciting boating safaris offering up-close encounters with wading hippos and elephants. You’ll also be able to track big game on foot, try your hand at catch and release fishing and take game drives into the heart of the park. All activities are led by a professional and knowledgeable team of guides - some of the best in the country.
