2 Day Kangaroo Island In Style 2 Day Kangaroo Island In Style

There’s a whole lot to see in Australia, but you really don’t want to miss the opportunity taking a couple of days out to explore Kangaroo Island.

The place is teeming with wildlife going about its business in an unspoiled natural habitat.

You’ll be able to see sleepy koalas snoozing in the crook of the branches of eucalyptus trees. You can trek through Lathami Conservation Park and walk along a superb beach at Seal Bay – deserted except for the sea lions. In Flinders Chase National Park you’ll encounter fur seals and Remarkable Rocks, as well as indulging your taste for stylish food and fine wines.

This is a sample itinerary to inspire your holiday – it can be tweaked in every way possible from the places you want to go to and number of days you spend in each, as well as hotels you stay in and activities you do. Your second day on the island and it’s time to visit the visually stunning Flinders Chase National Park. At Rocky River you’ll be presented with outrageously beautiful scenery as well as an impressive visitor centre – just the place to learn about the history, the wildlife, the geology and the formation of the park. Then you’re ready to explore and really appreciate what you’re seeing; the aptly named Remarkable Rocks, for example, giant natural sculptures thrusting their way out of a cliff top. You’ll also discover the unspoiled bush of the island and visit the extensive fur seal colony at Cape du Couedic.

In the evening you’ll return to Kingscote Airport for your flight back to the mainland, arriving in Adelaide at about 19:00. But it’s very easy to fall under the spell of Kangaroo Island, so you may find you want to stay an extra night. Just ask for details when you plan your itinerary.
