Of course, the prime reason for visiting Costa Rica has to be the wonderful wildlife of places like the Osa Peninsula with its astonishing birdlife (over 300 recorded species) and vast Corcovado Park.

Not forgetting the Arenal Volcano region where you’ll see three-toed sloths, caiman, howler and spider monkeys. But a holiday to Costa Rica is not all about wildlife. The country also offers you memorable experiences like soaking in natural hot springs, riding bicycles through lush valleys and practising yoga in the tranquillity of the jungle. Not to mention white water rafting, horse riding and zip lining in the cloud forest or – perhaps even more appealing – chilling out on the pristine beaches of the North Pacific Coast.
