Surrounded by spectacular coral reefs, this is one of the world’s most exclusive private island getaways. Arriving by helicopter or boat, you’ll be welcomed by a team of staff that includes private butlers, a boat crew, dive instructor and chef. Accommodation comprises one airy villa on the beach, with two banda-style beach huts for larger parties.

The island itself lies within Tanzania’s Shungimbili Marine Reserve, the waters of which with whale sharks, sea turtles, dolphins and dugongs. Snorkelling and scuba diving is therefore a highlight, but you can also try your hand at kayaking, deep sea fishing, paddleboarding and jet skiing. Visits to neighbouring islands are also available, as well as the chance to witness the magic of hatching marine turtles.

Otherwise, the island promises you relaxing spa treatments, an air-conditioned gym and beautiful glass rim-flow pool, plus flood-lit tennis courts. You’ll also find bonfire pits, an alfresco BBQ area, a cocktail bar and an Arabian-style Bedouin tent.
