Your flight lands you in the vibrant capital of Cairo, where you will be met and taken to your luxury hotel.
A full day privately guided tour will take you to discover what is one of the world’s greatest ancient attractions – the Great Pyramids of Giza. These magnificent structures represent the highest level of pyramid construction and rarely fail to capture the imagination. You’ll also enter the temple of the Sphinx whilst your Egyptologist reveals the histories and mysteries surrounding this legendary figure. Later you will drive to the ancient capital of Memphis to see the huge reclining statue of Ramesses II, before venturing onto the step pyramid of Saqqara, the Serapeum and the three tombs of ancient Egyptian nobles.
You’ll delve deeper into the culture and history of Egypt on the following day with visits to the Citadel of Saladin, Egyptian Museum and beautiful alabaster mosque of Muhammad Ali. Finishing in the 13th century Khan el-Khalili bazaar with its twisting alleys, shops and stalls.

Today you fly from Cairo to the Nile-side city of Luxor. Your hotel is set amongst beautiful gardens on the Nile’s West Bank just outside a local village – giving you a snapshot into rural Egyptian life.
Luxor has a range of unforgettable sights to discover, including the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and the temple of Ramses III at Medinet Habu. You can also explore the beautiful surrounding desert by bike and on horseback.

Your luxury modern river cruiser will take you across the river to allow you to stroll through the forest of decorative columns that is the Temple of Karnak and Luxor. The next day you’ll find yourself on the West Bank of the Nile, taking in the astonishing Valley of the Kings with its underground tombs lined with hieroglyphics. Over a soaring ridge is the Valley of the Queens, and you’ll be able to discover the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir, El-Bahari and the mighty Colossi Memnon.
Other cruise highlights might include visits to the renowned Horus Temple and Kom Ombo, where you can visit a temple dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Upon arrival in Aswan, you’ll be guided around the High Dam and have the opportunity to visit the Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk. A cruise around Kitchener’s Island and its wonderful botanical gardens in a different style of rivercraft (a traditional sailing felucca) is also on the menu.

Alight from the Nebu Nile Cruise and you’ll be taken to your hotel with an enchanting setting overlooking the Nile River. This is a great base for exploring the Coptic Cathedral and the Nubian Museum, as well as the Tombs of the Nobles, Kitchener’s Island and the Aga Khan Mausoleum. While in Aswan, you’ll take a scenic flight to Abu Simbel to visit the relocated temples of Ramses II and marvel at the engineering excellence of 12,000 BC.
