On arrival in Singapore early this morning, connect to an onward Silk Air flight to Yogyakarta, Indonesia. On arrival in Yogyakarta transfer to the centrally located Phoenix Hotel for a three-night stay. Located in the heart of Yogyakarta near the popular Malioboro district the historic Phoenix Hotel is a colonial landmark dating back to 1918. The hotel features a restaurant, wine bar and terrace bar overlooking an open courtyard. An inviting swimming pool, day spa and modern facilities complete the exclusive experience.
Lunch under own arrangements. In the afternoon, you will get your first glimpse of the city with a brief orientation walk to the one of the most famous places in Yogyakarta, Malioboro Street. Depart the hotel early this morning for a visit to Borobudur. Starting from Borobudur Archaeological Park, experience the silent and quiet beauty of the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Watch the sunrise over Mount Merapi while enjoying smoked Indonesian coffee. Return to your hotel for breakfast.
Early this afternoon, enjoy an afternoon tour of Yogyakarta including the Sultan’s Palace, also known as the Kraton, which is located in the centre of the city and was founded in 1755. Continue to Tamansari (also known as the Water Castle) situated just 250m from Sultan’s Palace. Built in 1758 by the prince, with the sole purpose of being used as a ‘place of pleasure’ for himself and his harem. Lunch at Bale Raos Restaurant, before visiting Kota Gede, where you can visit batik factories and join a traditional Batik workshop and silver smiths. Dinner under own arrangements.
This morning drive to Prambanan village to visit the Prambanan Temple. This Hindu temple of the ‘Slender Virgin’, also known as a complex of Lorojongrang, was constructed in the 9th century while Java was ruled by the Hindu Sanjayas of Old Mataram in the north. It consists of 3 major temples and shrines in the main area dedicated to the respected Hindu’s Gods such as Candi Shiva Mahadeva, Candi Brahma and Candi Vishnu. Explore and observe the beautiful carvings and the neighbourhood shrines such as the Candi Palosan and The Candi Sewu. The Ramayana story is carved into the walls of the temples.
Enjoy lunch at Poeri Devata Restaurant. Return to the hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure and dinner under own arrangements.
YOGYAKARTA / BROMO
Start your day early and transfer to the train station for the 4-hour scenic journey to East Java by Express Train, the perfect opportunity to admire the picturesque Java landscapes. Upon arrival in Mojokerto complete the final leg of your journey to Bromo, a further 3-hour drive.
Stop for lunch en route at Kartika Restaurant Gempol before checking into The Jiwa Jawa Resort, Bromo for a two-night stay. Dinner at the resort’s Belanga Restaurant.
Early morning departure by open top jeep to Pananjakan in time for sunrise. Continue to Mount Bromo. And begin the walk up the 245 steps to enjoy the breath-taking panoramic views and take in the impressive display from the top of the 2,000-metre summit. After plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, head back downhill. Return to your hotel for breakfast and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

BROMO / IJEN
Day 1: Check out of the hotel after breakfast and embark on the onward journey to Ijen. Journey along the Java Ocean coastline past the fishing village of Pasir Putih and bound for Ijen. Total drive time will be 8-9 hours with multiple stops to refresh and explore the local areas.
Lunch stop at a local restaurant in Jember. On arrival, check into the Ijen Resort and Villas for a two-night stay. The one and only luxury hotel in the area, the Ijen Resort sits at the edge of the rainforest of Ijen National Park. Overlooking terraced rice fields to a row of volcanoes, this really is a place to be at one with nature and drink in the spectacular vistas of mountains, including Mount Ijen, most famous for the sulphur-rich crater lake at its summit, and the rich green rainforest and fields with views right across the Bali Strait to the Island of the Gods. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Wake early for a journey to nearby Paltuding, the gateway to the incredible summit of Mount Ijen. Along the way, pass through rural villages and coffee plantations before you are engulfed by Java’s dense rainforest. On arrival at the rainforest trail, disembark from your vehicle and continue your journey on foot into the jungle. Climb the Ijen plateau and along hilly landscapes before arriving at Ijen’s crater’s edge, at about 2883 metres above sea level. Enjoy stunning views from here and perhaps catch a glimpse of the sulphur lake below before getting a hands-on look at the local sulphur mining activities.
Return to your hotel. Lunch under own arrangements and remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner at the hotel.
IJEN / UBUD
In the morning after breakfast, enjoy a short trek from the hotel, to experience the beauty of vast rice fields, rainforest and local villages.
Check out of the hotel and drive to Banyuwangi, before proceeding to Ketapang harbour. Cross the strait from Java to Bali by ferry with stop en-route for lunch at Octagon Restaurant in Pemuteran. Continue by road to Ubud for a further 4 hours. On arrival check into the Royal Tulip Visesa Resort for a three-night stay. This luxury resort offers beautiful rooms in a tranquil setting while retaining traditional Balinese style. Dinner at the hotel.
Start the day exploring Ubud and the surrounding area, visit the Neka Museum of Art, which has an extensive collection of paintings by Balinese, Indonesian and foreign artists in classic Balinese and contemporary styles. Then continue to Mas village, known for its famous wood carving, followed by Goa Gajah, the Elephant Cave. Following this, visit Gunung Kawi, one of the oldest and the largest ancient monuments on the island, and one of the 10 rock candies (shrines) that stand hidden in a steep valley, dedicated to King Udayana. Also visit Tirta Empul temple, (the ‘Holy Spring Water Temple’) located in Tampaksiring area; the water was believed to be a holy water which used for healing any bad spirit.
Return to the hotel for lunch under own arrangements and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner at an authentic Balinese restaurant while enjoying a Balinese dance performance.
This morning drive to the breath-taking Caldera Lake with mesmerising views of the Balkanise landscape and the striking Danu Batur Temple. Drive round the edge of the lake to Pura Kehen, a Hindu’s shrine located in foothills at Bangli Regency. Continue to Sidemen Village to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding rice fields.
After lunch at Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Candi Beach Cottage, continue your discovery of the eastern part of the island by visiting the water palace of Taman Sukasada in Ujung and the royal pool of Tirtagangga, both built by the last King of Karangasem. Drive back to Ubud, and the remainder of the day is free at leisure. Dinner under own arrangements.
UBUD / FLORES / SERAYA
This morning, depart Ubud and transfer to Denpasar Airport to catch your morning flight to Labuan Bajo on the western tip of Flores. Transfer straight to your hotel by wooden boat (1-hour sailing). Upon arrival check into Seraya Hotel and Resort for a two-night stay. Located on an island just off the coast from Labuan Bajo the resort features a private beach area, an outdoor swimming pool. The friendly staff can help guests to arrange relaxing massages, laundry requests and activities like snorkelling, diving, fishing and canoeing at additional charges.

SERAYA / KOMODO AND RINCA
Leave your hotel early this morning and head straight to Labuan Bajo harbour where you will board a local boat. Start the day trekking through the Komodo National Park on Rinca Island. Observe the Komodo Dragon in its natural habitat along with many other wild animals.
After the morning trek head back on the boat where a picnic lunch will be served. Continue to Komodo Island where the local ranger will take you to Banunggulung, the river bed where the dragons are fed. This trek takes you through spectacular scenery, you will be able to see the many unusual plants and animals along the way. Once back onboard make your way to Pink Beach. This pristine cove has crystal clear waters and an abundance of coral and sea life which you can explore by swimming or simply relax on the beach. Dinner at the hotel on your return.
SERAYA / FLORES / BALI
Today enjoy the morning at leisure.
Lunch under own arrangements before transferring to Labuan Bajo Airport for your flight to Bali. Upon arrival, transfer to the Fairmont Sanur Beach Hotel for a one-night stay. This luxury resort set amidst four hectares of lush tropical gardens is located along 200m of golden beach in the Sanur district in southeast Bali. Once a fishing village, Sanur is today full of historical charm and a hub for Balinese art, culture and tradition well away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the island. Dinner of traditional barbequed seafood on the beach at Ma Joly Restaurant.
BALI / SINGAPORE / LONDON
Today will be spent at leisure enjoying the wonderful hotel facilities with the option to explore the local area.
