In Banff you cannot miss the mountains. The town is surrounded on all sides by Alberta’s Rockies, with 25 peaks stretching over 3000 metres towards the sky. Even if you look in a lake, you’ll see mighty mountains reflected in the tranquil water.

You also cannot miss the park. The creation of Banff National Park was inspired by the therapeutic qualities of the town’s bubbling springs, and is a hot destination for dedicated outdoors people. Tours will take you on unforgettable journeys along the Icefields Parkway – surely one of the most spectacular highways in the world – and onto the majestic Athabasca Glacier. You can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, or hike with expert local guides to Stanley Glacier, Larch Valley, Healy Pass, Ha Ling Summit and the fabulous Plain of Six Glaciers. You can float quietly along Bow River, observing beaver, elk and osprey or go white water rafting through Horseshoe Canyon.
