You can also explore the UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg, and wonderful Kejimkujik National Park, or the orchards and vineyards of the pastoral Annapolis Valley. The warm waters and sandy beaches of Northumberland’s shore await, as does Pictou – the town that welcomed the first Scottish immigrants – the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island and the formidable Fortress Louisbourg.
