From the mountains and glaciers in the south, to the jungle and tropical wildlife of the north, Argentina is a spectacular family destination.
Our family Argentina itinerary has been created to suit families of all ages and interests and has been put together to showcase some of the highlights of Argentina, as well as the lesser known areas too.
At just over two weeks it can be shortened or lengthened, but has been designed to make the most of your time away and utilising as many direct flights as possible (as we know how boring airports can be!)
Argentina is famous for it's gaucho (cowboy) history and whilst away you will stay in authentic estancias as well as some first class hotels, ideal for families looking to explore the surrounding area.
With our English speaking local guides you will explore the jungle and waterfalls of the mighty Iguassu Falls, on the border with Brazil and even experience a wet and wild boat-trip into the falls. You will also discover the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires, famous for football, tango and it's excellent restaurants.
From Buenos Aires you will head south, into the spectacular snow-capped mountains of the Argentine Lake District, where you will have chance to ride, hike, kayak and explore the beautiful forests and lakes of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Then continue south to the serenity of Patagonia, where you will mini-trek across the mighty Perito Moreno Glacier.
Your penultimate stop is one of South America's wildlife hotspots, a remote farm on the Atlantic coast, famous for its marine life and wild and untamed scenery. With some luck you will see Southern Right Whales, Elephant Seals and possibly evening Orcas.
Your time in Argentina comes to an end at a relaxing estancia in the fertile planes of the Pampas, just outside Buenos Aires. A chance to relax and enjoy the warm hospitality before flying home.
