Best Time to Visit Cambodia

Cambodia’s dry season runs from November to April and the wet season from May until October. During the dry season travellers come to Cambodia to enjoy sightseeing, temple-hopping, the southern coast beaches that bask in the sunshine and the favourable sea conditions.

But that’s not to say there are not advantages of visiting Cambodia during the rainy months. The wet weather means the country’s lush scenery is in full bloom, and you can explore temples sites – such as the famous Angkor Wat – with the bonus of there being far fewer visitors. What’s more, the Tonle Sap, with its beautiful floating villages, swells from the rains and is at its most impressive. Daytime temperatures during this time tend to average between 25°C and 27°C.
