On day four you’ll catch a flight to Bali and its spiritual heart of Ubud – the island’s centre for culture, fine arts, dance and music. Using this as your base, you can venture out to discover traditional arts and crafts markets, galleries, silversmiths, the Ubud Palace or verdant Monkey Forest – sanctuary of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey.
Alternatively, you can enjoy leisurely strolls or bicycle rides along nearby trails – the perfect way to meet local people and drink in the picturesque scenery. Those wanting to master local recipes can also take part in a private cooking class.

You’ll start at Rinca, a small island where you can walk amongst these magnificent lizards amidst the mangroves and forests of their natural environment. From the highest point on the trek you will have a splendid panoramic view of the surrounding island.

The beautiful pink sands and crystal-clear waters make it a wonderful place to relax in the sun. On day twelve you’ll sail to Komodo Island where you’ll trek across red volcanic hills and savannah in search of more encounters with the incredible Komodo dragon.
