Named after the sal forest it takes refuge in, Six Senses Vana blends Ayurveda, Tibetan medicine, natural healing therapies and yoga to create a bespoke wellness journey for every guest.

Stay at one of northern India’s finest wellness retreats, set in a dense sal forest just outside Dehradun. Your journey will begin with a consultation and wellness

screening with Vana’s doctors who will design a tailored program of treatments, activities and nutrition for your stay. Depending on your wellness goals, these could include everything from meditation and yoga sessions to guided nature treks, music therapy, acupuncture and reflexology. There’s tennis courts on site, alongside an indoor water-therapy pool, outdoor leisure pool and fully-equipped gym.

This line-up is complemented by personalised support and nourishing cuisine – including a specialty Ayurvedic restaurant. Menus are mindfully prepared and change with the seasons, with ingredients plucked straight from the organic gardens. The guestrooms and suites abound in soothing neutral tones, and enjoy serene views of the ancient forest and gardens from their balconies and terraces.
