KUALA LUMPUR
Fly to the endlessly exciting Malaysian city of Kuala Lumpur. You’ll be warmly met upon touch down, and transferred to your romantic, adults-only boutique villa in the heart of the city.
You’ll have two nights to take in all that KL has to offer, from the soaring Petronas Twin Towers to the hustle and bustle of the Central Market and several fantastic museums. During your stay, a privately guided tour will introduce you to various attractions such as the Heritage Railway Station, atmospheric Thean Hou Temple and stunning Perdana Botanical Gardens which is packed with a beautiful and impressive collection of exotic plants.

Later, a serene boat ride along the Kinabatangan River will bring you to the award-winning Sukau Rainforest Lodge. The surrounding natural rainforest plays host to an incredible diversity of rare and unusual wildlife, from wild orangutans to proboscis monkeys, Borneo pygmy elephants and countless exotic birds. Perched on the banks of this mighty waterway, Sukau is the perfect base for encounters with the region’s wildlife, offering both enchanting river safaris and night excursions in search of the more elusive, nocturnal species.

One of the world’s last remaining swathes of virgin rainforest, studded with waterfalls and crossed by numerous rivers, the Danum Valley is an untouched haven for Borneo’s birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. You’ll get to cross the forest canopy on a soaring suspension bridge and embark on night safaris to spot some interesting nocturnal creatures. Knowledgeable guides will lead you along secret jungle paths and show you the flora and fauna of the deep rainforest. You’ll also have time to visit Coffin Cliff, an ancient cliff-face burial site, and bathe in a crystal-clear rock pool hidden in the jungle.
